Workshops Cancellation & Substitutions Policy

If you need to cancel

We rely on an accurate attendance count to make arrangements for our workshops. If an attendee needs to withdraw, they must tell us in writing by email no later than 21 days before the first day of the workshop. We will confirm receipt of the cancellation within three business days. Cancellations made more than 21 days before the workshop are charged a non-refundable $15 administrative fee. No refunds are available for cancellations within 21 days of the workshop.

If we cancel

Occasionally we need to cancel a workshop, including for inclement weather (see below). If we cancel, we will contact you using the information you gave us, and you will receive a complete refund of all workshop fees to your original form of payment. We are not responsible for expenses beyond the enrollment fees.

Substitutions

Before the workshop begins, you may send another person in your place. It’s fine if your replacement teaches a different grade or has different school duties. Please call (737) 677-5900 or email howdy@nuttybrownpress.com as soon as possible with any substitution requests.

Changing your workshop location

If you need to switch to a different location, please call or email as soon as possible. We will accommodate your request if space is available.

Inclement weather

If there is severe weather, please call ahead to confirm the workshop is still on. If we cancel because of weather, we will contact you, post an announcement on our website, and refund your registration fee.
